The TRACER (Threat and Risk Assessment, Capability Exploration and Research) function is being established within the National Crime Agency (NCA) ) to support the development of specialist digital investigative capabilities. TRACER has two primary functions: Threat and Opportunity Management (ThaOM) and Strategic Customer Relationship Management (SCRM). 

The following roles have been created to work with the SCRM lead to act as a single point of contact for a subset of TRACER’s strategic partners, under the overall management of the SCRM Lead. 

Role summary: 

As part of the TRACER function, responsible for coordinating engagement across the Communications Data (CD) and Lawful Intercept (LI) partnership customers. To ensure that customers are content with the provision of national CD/LI services; they are adequately prepared for the adoption of new national services and their strategic requirement set is reflected within the CD LI service portfolio. 

Significant travel within the UK will be required 

Essential at Entry: 

Ability to obtain DV STRAP clearance 

Desirable at Entry: 

Digital Investigations training or equivalent experience 
Operational Policing or Law Enforcement experience in a covert environment. 
Management / Leadership trained or ability/potential to achieve pass marking.
