Role summary: 

This is an exciting opportunity to use your technical skills within the dynamic world of lawful intercept engineering. The post holders will assist in the 1st and 2nd line support of technical systems to a professional standard and to meet user requirements. Provide assistance in maintaining and upgrading technical systems in line with technical projects and aid the support of technical networks and infrastructure. Successful candidates may be required to form part of an on call rota.

Candidates CV will be assessed against the below entry criteria at shortlisting and will also be assessed alongside the behavioral competencies at interview. These are taken from the Role Profile and the Government Communication Professional Competency Framework 

- In depth knowledge of IT hardware, operating systems and software 
- Information technology skills in a wide variety of packages and databases 
- Experience in an IT related field 

Desirable at Entry: 

- Good understanding of ITIL
