We are currently seeking Sergeants to join three key teams. With positions based in Response, Crime Investigation (CID) and FIT (the Force Investigation Unit) these diverse and rewarding opportunities will prove a fantastic challenge for individuals who are passionate about providing a value-for-money policing service.

Within CID, you will deal with a wide range of complex crime including serious sexual, violence and property related offences. From first report through to prosecution, you will put the victims at the centre of your investigations.

In the Response Team, you will be at the operational heart of our objective to protect people from harm. Often the first officer to attend and resolve a huge variety of incidents across a diverse rural and urban county (including Daventry, Northampton, Wellingborough and Kettering), you may also have the opportunity to be trained as a Specialist Taser Officer.

 Lastly, in our new FIT team, you will take on the investigation of crimes that would previously have been dealt with by Response or Neighbourhood officers, with more time to focus on your core role.
