Associate Nuclear Materials Inventory Controller

We are looking for a Associate Nuclear Material controller to assist the Material inventory holder with the production of key accountancy related reports whilst undertaking an appropriate range of checks and audits to ensure process standards are complied with. The role will require you to work in a High Hazard environment which will involve wearing specific PPE to strict guidelines, policies and procedures.
The main purpose of the role is to ensure criticality conditions are complied with and assist the Inventory holder with the physical inventory verification, stock verification and surveillance activities. The Associate Nuclear Material controller will be responsible for packing, unpacking and surveillance of materials, operations of the Nuclear Material Control Databases whilst maintaining high standards of safety in a high hazard environment.
Typically we would expect you to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Maths and English at GCSE grade or equivalent,
- Good organisational, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
Candidates must be willing to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
