Main purpose of the role
To provide training and development to meet identified needs and enhance the capability of the organisation to meet its objectives. To provide administrative support to enable the efficient provision of service. To contribute to achieving the Force vision, purpose and values.
To design training to meet best practice standards.
To plan and prepare and effectively deliver national training packages.
To ensure that training design keeps pace with changes and developments in both content and method.
To ensure evaluation of training through effective feedback systems with changes being incorporated in design or delivery as required.
To provide advice and support to all staff members in relation to training and development plans and standards
Administer tests and exams.
To monitor staff attending external courses.
Essential to have training experience or relevant qualification.
Ability to research, plan, design, deliver and evaluate training programmes.
