We are recruiting candidates with varying levels of knowledge and experience looking to develop their career in Technical Authoring. Successful candidates will be deployed throughout the business to generate, update and manage complex documentation. This can include, but is not limited to, procedural and operational work instructions to support Manufacturing Engineers, Operational Facilities, Production Agencies, Maintenance Facilities and Business Standards.
Candidates will ideally be qualified to a minimum ONC/OND in an appropriate discipline. Applicants for the senior role should be qualified to HNC/HND, or preferably degree level, with engineering experience an industrial environment.
Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes, process document generation and or health and safety legislation in a manufacturing environment is preferred as is a working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems including BOMs and route cards.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and be able to work in designated areas of the AWE sites. The role may also involve a small amount of travel both in the UK and abroad.
