Digital Marketing Lead - London - Contract

Our client, a Global FMCG company, is seeking a Digital Marketing Lead to join the team on a contract basis.

Digital Marketing Lead Purpose of Role:

Own and manage the overall marketing and commerce strategy for global digital commerce trade platforms

Digital Marketing Lead Owner Accountabilities:

  • Define and own the customer content strategy, including tone of voice, visuals, and style guide for the businesses digital commerce trade platforms
  • Liaise with local customer marketing and brand teams
  • Define performance KPIs and work with data & analytics team to develop reports/ dashboard and ensure all content is properly tagged
  • Lead content briefings with agencies, internal stakeholders and other vendor partners
  • Define a customer CRM strategy inclusive of segmentation and loyalty schemes
  • Establish an user acquisition strategy (paid and organic, onsite and offsite including social media and offline)
  • Train internal and external key account managers on the trade shopper platform
  • Constantly gather feedback and insights from all users to continuously optimise the platform
  • Plan, execute, and measure tests
  • Support on global rollout and roadmap of trade shopper platform
  • Support overall global digital commerce growth strategy

Digital Marketing Lead Qualifications and Experience Required:

Digital Marketing Lead Skills required

  • Digital Customer Marketing experience- ideally B2B globally
  • Commercial experience with an understanding of B2B customers
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Developing and managing a brand
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Optimizing path to purchase funnels
  • Leading and managing SEO/SEM and paid online campaigns e.g. Google AdWords, Facebook
  • Managing and optimizing offline marketing campaigns
  • CRM and loyalty scheme experience
  • A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Languages - English (fluent), additional languages would be ideal
