Our client a leader in the Defence Sector, currently has a requirement for an Quality and Assurance professional within the Aviation space. 

The person required shall provide evidence to support military airworthiness. You will  review Certificates; including reviews of occurrence Reporting & Airworthiness Review Boards. As the Quality Assurance Engineer you will be required to provide technical advice and support on matters concerning the continuing airworthiness of platforms. You will act as the Military Airworthiness Review Surveyor to ensure that documentary evidence is sufficient and adequate to support the issue of a Military Airworthiness Review Certificate.

The successful person will be required to maintain key airworthiness documentation; in particular, the review, amendment, publication and distribution of relevant  Airworthiness procedures. Participate, as required in the introduction, Trial/Proof installation and subsequent Fleet Embodiment of modifications to Military platforms where such modifications have an impact or bearing on airworthiness, attending relevant boards as appropriate. e.

Assist accident and incident investigations involving aircraft where necessary; offering SME advice to assist as required and advising key stakeholders of the subsequent action.

The person required should come with Chartered Engineering status, with experience of both Military and Civil Aviation Regulatory environments. Candidates with specific aircraft Types such as either AS350, AS365N3 and Bell 212 are very highly desired.
