Installation / Infrastructure Technician - Contract - Belgium - Market Rates

Our client is looking for an Installation / Infrastructure Technician to start in Belgium. Initial contract will run till end of the year with likely extensions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and repair fibre-optic networks, including cable infrastructures, local area networks
  • Structured Cabling, Planning, installing and maintaining fibre and copper connectivity within Data Centre (including FC or iSCSI)
  • Repairing, installing and maintaining Copper and fibre-optic cabling
  • Develop, Implement and maintain Power, Rack Space (and Air Conditioning) Plans
  • Develop a Maintenance Plan of Data Centre Hardware upgrades including Firmware distribution
  • Health and Safety at Work and First Aid
  • Understanding of TEMPEST / EMCON regulations, policies and procedures
