My client is currently undergoing a vast technology transformation, replacing legacy systems and revolutionising the way they deliver their products through the use of Agile and DevOps ways of working. As such, they are looking for progressive and highly skilled Software Engineers who are passionate about working in an environment where they can contribute to the full end to end software lifecycle.

As a Junior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of a wide range of software products across the full lifecycle. For your application to be considered, you must be able to evidence in your CV the following:
· Some development experience, ideally in an Agile environment, using one or more of the following: Spark, Python, Scala, Go, Node, Ruby, Java, R, SQL, NoSQL, JavaScript, CSS3, SAAS, Hadoop, PaaS, Cloud infrastructure and Web frameworks such as Rails or Django
· An awareness of a variety of software engineering tools and techniques such as TDD, BDD and/or Pair Programming
· An awareness of a variety of relational and non-relational database tools and techniques.
· Proven experience of running functional and non-functional tests
· A desire to learn about continuous integration, delivery and deployment techniques
