*Project Manager - up to £540 p/d - 6 month project - Andover*

*Security Clearance: Must hold SC clearance*
*Please note: This contract has been deemed to fall in-scope of IR35*

Defence Experience, Construction Experience, APMP or other Project Management qualification.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
*Management and delivery of plans to ensure all necessary preparation and execution tasks and dependencies are included; ongoing management of those plans to achieve the delivery goals
*Work with key stakeholders to manage the deployment of all aspects of the project assigned to Identify and mitigate potential risks for delivery of products Operate as a full member of the team; supporting the Programme Director and other team members as directed Project Manager all aspects of specific work packages
*Working with stakeholders to ensure Design; Delivery; Technical Build; testing; MI requirements etc are managed and delivered to date and time
*Completion of detailed plan for the medium term including MSP; Resources; costs
*Completion of the detailed design phase to time and quality; working with the Design team to secure stakeholder sign-off at all stages.
*Development of stakeholder relationship with suppliers; including preparation of joint plans; proposals and any design and build documentation.
*Completion of the high level plan through to Go Live and BAU handover.
*Experience in the delivery of projects with particular emphasis on the management of suppliers and stakeholders
*Experience of governance and risk control frameworks
*Good planning and organisational skills Strong leadership; people and communications skills
*Possess strong analytical skills with a proven ability to persuade and influence senior decision-making.

Key tasks and deliverables:
*Lead on projects allocated and drive through to successful achievement of key programme milestones
*Manage financial data to ensure accurate expenditure and forecasts are maintained up to date on internal IT management system
*Manage the level 4 infrastructure plan for a number of infrastructure projects.
*Manage the local risk register and issues log, escalating where necessary those that cannot be managed locally within a package area.
*Work with Programme Cost Reduction team and external suppliers to implement cost reduction measures, monitoring the progress on a quarterly basis.
*Complete local monthly progress reports across the time, cost and quality spectrum.
*Observe change control process at project/programme level; registering proposed changes for investigation and resolution.
*Manage relationships with contacts at all levels in order to establish effective working relationships between members of the project teams, programme manager, key stakeholders and suppliers.
*Continually develop the network of contacts across the business to enable achievement of objectives and maintain these for future initiatives.
*Manage the Principle Service Provider (PSP) through the DPO stage ensuring time and cost is achieved for particular projects.
*Other duties as tasked by the line manager
