In this enticing role, you will work with Agile to lead a team as they develop, fix and enhance .Net software for mobile, desktop and web. Leading software changes with your own extensive developing skills, you will also oversee automated testing and deployment infrastructure, inspiring an environment of continual improvement. This is a great role in which to really push the capabilities of UKHO, particularly as you will act as a task manager, thereby nurturing and enhancing the skills of more junior colleagues as you delegate work to them and ensure their time is being used appropriately.
With at least three years of experience of crafting C#.Net code, you will ideally be proficient in a few of the following: Automated unit and system testing, ASP .Net MVC, WPF, Team Foundation Server, and Cloud platforms such as Azure or VSTS. A natural leader, you will have commercial knowledge of build and release tools such as Team Foundation Server and you will have a thorough grasp of relation databases. A natural team-player, you will remain abreast of advances in the field, maintaining your own ongoing professional development.
