Job description

We are seeking to start our European support centre and are looking for committed 2nd  / 3rd line Support Engineer to handle technical queries  raised by our client in the UK. You will be involved with a variety of service desk, desktop, telephone, remote and client facing support while working with our off shore development teams. As our company grows you will have  an opportunity to take on different roles.

The Role

  • To provide second and third level support to our client in the UK
  • You will support the first/second line team to resolve service requests
  • Ensure that incidents are resolved in a timely manner to meet defined service level targets
  • Proactively help resolve tickets where required
  • To participate as a project resource as and when required
  • To assist in the support of other project in Europe as required

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Linux
  • Experience with Java programming
  • Experience with working with Databases(GraphDB, RElationalDB, NoSQL)
  • Experience with Solr
  • Experience with IBM software: BigInsight (Hadoop, HBase)DB2, WebSphere
  • Strong customer-service orientation
  • Valid UK Security Clearance - Must
