My Client, a large multi-national organisation are looking for a Project Resource Controller to support assigned Project Manager to promote good planning practice and to monitor and report concerns and issues through recognized escalation routes, along with proposed Solutions.

The Role:
* Ensure resource demand and supply (headcount) data in plans accurately reflects requirements. Challenge demands with assigned Project Manager(s) and other key stakeholders where necessary.
* Provide resource profile output from schedules into the resource management system used by the business.
* Report on actuals against planned demand with associated metric
* Facilitate CAM demand review meeting, demonstrating month on month variances and cataloguing justifications for change and assumptions for future forecast changes
* Liaise with Planning (Project Coordinators) on change requests
* Support the Planning Function as part of the Monthly Cycle.
* Support the Planning Function and CAMs in the production of reports used for reviews on resourcing.

What you will need:
* Be able to create, maintain and report project schedules using Microsoft Project
* Can create, maintain and report from Excel using data generated from MS Project
* Would typically have considerable experience working in a controlled project environment and would be expected to assume the behaviours and responsibilities summarized below while supporting a portfolio of projects of medium to high complexity.
* Is flexible with a service delivery mind-set, providing ad-hoc support and undertaking additional activities as required (within an agreed level of support budget) to provide a quality service to assigned projects.
* Supports and contributes to improvement initiatives.
