Technical Compliance Manager (Hard FM) - Permanent - Gloucestershire - up to £40,000

The Technical Compliance Manager (Hard FM) will support, advise, direct and/or operate on specific engineering discipline lead functions to support legal, mandatory/statutory and/or contractual compliance across all contracts through audit, support and training by perceived risk.

Responsibilities

  • The jobholder will support contracts by providing technical expertise and services across a wide range of engineering disciplines.
  • The Technical Compliance Manager will be accountable for technical compliance and best practice in technical operations and the role could have significant, systemic positive or negative impact to our client.
  • The Technical Compliance Manager will be responsible for the Technical Risk register.
  • Will be responsible for both PPM (planned maintenance) and RW (reactive works)
  • Leads their team in effective operation and maintenance of M&E infrastructure, equipment, processes or services.
  • Technically manages and is responsibility for their own actions and the team's performance.
  • Consistently delivers clear concise briefing of technical issues to non-technical colleagues.

Desirable Knowledge, Qualification and Experience:

  • Leads their team in effective operation and maintenance of M&E infrastructure, equipment, processes or services.
  • SFG20, CAFM
  • Technically manages and is responsible for their own actions and the team's performance.
  • Consistently delivers clear concise briefing of technical issues to non-technical colleagues.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to lead teams and liaise with peers.
  • Commitment to the highest professional engineering values and standards.
  • Understands how to innovate and encourages creativity and positive change
  • Effectively manage RCA and Post Incident Engineering review requirements.
  • Experienced and capable of having technical accountability for M&E systems and solutions including simple standby generation and UPS systems.
  • Accountability for project, finance and personnel management and managing trade-offs between technical, commercial and impact to systems or buildings.
  • Effective interpersonal skills in communicating technical matters.
