Service Delivery Lead required developing team of Matrixed Business Analysts, Data Management and system Engineers in collaboration with 3rd parties, demonstrating Service solutions to our customers.

In the role of Service Lead, you will be the focal point for the transformation to services.

They include Business Transformation of areas such as Integrated Logistic Support, Specialist engineering, Safety, Security and Obsolescent Management and Supply Chain. You will oversee a variety of service transformation projects and offer technical and management oversight.

This key role is responsible for the overall co-ordination and development of high quality solution designs for our proposed services. Objectives include:

Taking the overall Service Strategy and ensuring that all service designs are produced to meet the Business strategy.
Producing and maintaining all Service Design documentation.
Producing and maintaining all Service Design Packages (SDPs).
Measuring the effectiveness of the Service Design process and implementing Service Improvement Plans (SIP) where necessary.
Negotiating and agreeing levels of service to be delivered with the customer.
Ensuring that the current service requirement is documented in a Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Identifying and documenting any OLSs, SLAs and underpinning contract that may be needed to support the required services.
Assisting with the production and maintenance of an accurate Service Portfolio and Service Catalogue.
Developing all service performance measures including PIs, KPIs and KSFs along with a framework of tolerances and rules that are reflected in the SLAs.
Ensuring that all Integrated service offerings are compatible with the customers SIAM approach.

Typical activities will include:

A portfolio of transformation projects
Manage a development team of Business Analysts, Data Management Engineers, Application Engineers and System Engineers
Liaise with business leaders when required
Responsible for ensuring engineering governance, processes and procedures are followed
Ensuring projects remain on track
Liaise with customers and suppliers as required.
Ensure weekly project reports/updates are delivered on time

The successful candidate will be required to:

Demonstrate experience of managing IT related Service delivery and or service provisions
Demonstrate experience effectively managing a team of diverse talent.
Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the challenges associated with a delivery focused organisation
Be able to demonstrate good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Will have a good understanding of SIAM and qualified to ITIL Expert certificate.

The successful candidate will have the below skills/experience:

An exceptional technical understanding of IT systems development lifecycle. Mainly Oracle and Microsoft technologies.
Have a good understanding of the ITIL framework, (ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate is highly desirable)
Will have a good understanding of SIAM
Typically requires degree level education and an advanced level of related experience, or equivalent.
Demonstrable understanding of Supply Chan processes and procedures
Demonstrable understanding of defence logistics and supply chain solutions
Demonstrable experience of working within an Oracle and Microsoft infrastructure.
Be able to demonstrate good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Be able to demonstrate high levels of motivation, integrity and professionalism.
Be able to demonstrate flexibility, commitment and innovation.
