A great new opportunity for a permanent Design Engineer to provide effective and timely technical support to engineering changes.
Your role will be to facilitate and lead programme wide engineering change impact assessments and act as the engineering change point of contact for engineering and programme functions.

Responsibilities
*To support development and production engineering in the generation, review and assessment of changes to the build standard
*To support and lead internal change reviews and generate technical data packs to support change implementation
*To generate and collate impact assessments for change board approval
*To support engineering trade studies to define the optimum change solution
*Lead change through life from concept to handover to programme and embodiment
*To monitor and advise on the quality of engineering change proposals and Technical Data Packs
*To support engineering change reviews and provide recommendations for the assessment phase.

Education/Experience
*Relevant degree, HNC or NVQ level 4 or relevant experience in engineering
*Knowledge and experience of systems engineering
*Knowledge and experience of Change Management
*Familiarity with military tracked or wheeled vehicles
*Familiarity with use of DOORs to manage requirements
*Familiarity with use of ERP systems i.e. Windchill PDM
