Service Desk Manager - Application Support
I am currently seeking a Service Desk Manager to join an innovative, rapidly expanding organization based in the Lincoln area.
Joining to head up the Service Desk function you will be responsible for managing junior employees, providing support where necessary, handling escalations, holding 1 to 1s and any other responsibilities which may fall under the remit of running the Service Desk.
The Service Desk covers all brands under the organization, providing 1st line support, processing incidents and service requests, escalating to another department where necessary. It's a mixed environment in the Service Desk, predominately it provides application support to users, but is also responsible for the desktop environments and infrastructure of users in the business. This makes it a varied position where you will pick up a variety of skills if you have any grey areas.
The ideal candidate will come from a similar environment, either currently working as a Service Desk Manager/Leader, or as a senior who provides guidance to junior employees. Ideally coming from an Application Support background, however if you come from a Desktop Support background that would also be desireable.
