Do you want to work for a FTSE100 company based in London?

The Orbit Data Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the databases underlying the Orbit platform.

The Orbit platform is used by employers to manage and communicate their employees' pension and benefits. It is a core part of my client's mission to deliver transformational consultancy and administrative excellence, underpinned by market-leading technology.

Orbit is a set of technical and domain services built on modern, popular, open-source stack: AngularJS, Spring Boot, Java 8 and MongoDB. Their cloud-hosted virtualised infrastructure uses Mesosphere DCOS to manage their applications with containers and make developers lives easier.

My client uses a variety of technologies, if you have the following skills then great:

  • Experience of Oracle 11g onwards
  • PL/SQL
  • Comfortable working in a client facing role
  • MySQL
  • Java/Spring
  • HTML/CSS/Javascript
  • Hibernate or equivalent ORM framework

This is one of the best opportunities I have seen in a while. To ensure you don't miss out please do apply straight away.
