Cyber Security Strategist/Architect - Home Based - 40-80k
You will be working for a US-based Cyber Security Consultancy that is looking to expand their EMEA operations with the addition of a Cyber Security Strategist.
In terms of the role itself you'll be working closely with many of the businesses they're closely partnered with as a 'trusted advisor' of sorts; you'll be able to leverage your technical background and knowledge of the market in order to make recommendations that have palpable effects in strengthening the internal security posture of a company. These improvements could range from threat modelling and gap assessments to discussing strategic roadmap changes with C-Level and even occasionally getting your hands dirty with their consulting engineers and implementing security solutions (don't worry, you'll receive training if you don't have experience in a particular toolset!).
They're have a slight preference for someone from a technical background in networking or security (ideally with regards to systems design/implementation) within a consultancy environment that has since moved towards a more strategic/advisory role but equally are open to profiles from non-technical backgrounds as having the gravitas to grow relationships is arguably the most crucial aspect of this position.
