IT Support Technician - School Software
IT Support Technician required to join a innovate, rapidly expanding FTSE 100 organisation in the Chelmsford area.
Joining the IT Support function you will become the subject-matter-expert for systems which are supplied from the client to over 22,000 schools throughout the UK. Undertaking training to get up to scratch, once you are competent on the products supporting you will claim responsibility for the full customer process.
Predominately providing telephone & remote support, you will pick up issues and follow them through to resolution; applying root-cause analysis where applicable. Alongside this you will handle escalations where necessary, assisting the 1st line team members and where needed picking up escalations and handling them yourself.
The support function is a vibrant fast paced environment where they have a passion for customer service. In order to be considered for the position you must come from a School environment where you are used to dealing with School systems. The office in Chelmsford provides direct support for 3500 schools throughout the UK.
