A Business Analyst is required on a permanent basis to join a team in Telford with our client, a re-insurer and leading provider of closed life policies, to work on a variety of projects ranging from business process, business facing and IT change projects.
Skills required of the Business Analyst:
- Agile methodology
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience of facilitating and leading Scrum sessions and writing user stories
- Strong Stakeholder management and client facing
- Excellent communication skills to communicate with all levels of management and clients.
- Presentation skills
Key responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
To perform high quality business analysis including cut-over planning, business readiness and support throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure the end user and system is prepared for the change.
To apply Business Analysis skills to define business requirements and collaborate to establish quality business solutions to business changes (both manual and automated solutions). Lead and participate in requirement capture workshops to define change requirements to stakeholders. Support the design of solutions that consider the Customer Journey and comply with business practice, target operating model and system principles. Working to agreed business analysis framework ensuring that all tasks are conducted such that they satisfy legislative requirements, internal controls and policy conditions.
To act as a hands-on BA and support the project in iterative development and delivery. Ensuring solution approach is supported through development and test in a clear and concise manner that ensures continuity of solution design. Acting as a role model demonstrating collaborative behaviour and can-do attitude.
