See yourself joining a fast-growing team of talented Engineers supporting immersive simulations. The successful candidate will be working on supporting our worldwide customer base in real-time simulations in a range of different simulation fields
We are seeking a Software Project Team Leader with a desire to lead a team and manage the project from start to finish. The successful applicant will be interested in all things graphics/software related and work as part of the team improving and optimising the project, as well as developing all aspects of a new, Unity-based engine for current and future projects.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Technical Support Manager.
Team leader on project
Software development with both maintaining existing software packages as well as new ad hock customer software upgrades.
Support customers via telephone, email, remote connection and in the field.
Working with existing engineers in different fields, such as developers, HMI, graphics, IT and electrical.
Understanding customer requirements for supporting and resolving software related problems.
Field upgrades, installations and acceptance testing with customers.
Manage the team to delivery on project

Essential Qualification
A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as computer science, software engineering, maths or physics.
Experience and active background in a previous software development role
Customer / Technical support experience showing work previously in a customer facing environment.

Personal Skills
Self-motivated, able to work from minimal information provided by customers
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple project types or ability to jump between projects as customer requirements dictate.
Flexible, agile approach; able to cope with urgent deadlines and changing priorities.
Able to lead projects and deal with clients and engineers

Background Knowledge or any of the below
Real time application development.
Simulation, games, physics processes, fluid dynamics.
.NET, C++, STL, Visual Studio, Fortran.
Industrial automation; control systems, I/O, PLC etc.
Applied math's; vector math's, trigonometry, forward/inverse kinematics.
Version control principles and systems (CVS, SVN etc).
