Security Clearance: Must already hold BPSS + DS clearance or be willing to undergo.

**PLEASE NOTE: THIS ROLE HAS BEEN FOUND OUT OF SCOPE FOR IR35**

We have an exciting opportunity to join one of our key clients in London who are looking for an Information Security Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will assist planning and scoping of security engagements, third party security assurance reviews and the creation and documentation of Security Policies and Procedures.

Key tasks and deliverables:
*Information Risk Briefing notes for Directors
*ITHC (penetration testing) procurement documents
*Privacy Impact Assessments
*Terms of Use, Memoranda of Understanding, Privacy Policies (with support of project teams)
*Risk Treatment Plans
*Occasional risk reports (optional)
*Assisting with the ongoing management and maintenance of the certification and training management system
* Performing and maintaining research in current information security areas

Essential skills and experience:
*Very strong grasp of the technologies used to deliver digital web-based services and in particular, the security controls needed to protect these services and the data that they process and store
*Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders inside and outside government across different specialist functions
*Strong understanding and demonstrable track record in the information security assurance of web-based services and cloud services
*Able to balance technical, physical personnel and procedural controls to address business and information risks in the most effective way experience of delivering reports to private and public sector customers and stakeholders on services and information risk
*Demonstrable experience of working successfully in a team

Desirable skills and experience:
*Problem solving and analytical skills
*Will be familiar with UK and international, legal and regulatory requirements that could affect organisation security and assurance policies and influence their development as needed
*Experience of scoping and/or purchasing IT Health Checks (penetration testing)
