A high profile investigation based in Warrington, Cheshire is looking for a talented individual with the following experience/skill set

  • Supervisor in PSD role – supervising police officers & staff who conduct investigations and write Investigation Reports to answer complaints and recordable conduct matters
  • Investigating criminal and Gross Misconduct allegations against police officers and staff - particularly Death & Serious Injury (DSI) matters
  • Writing large & complex CPS files regarding criminal allegations against police officers & staff or contracted staff
  • Writing large & complex Investigation Reports regarding misconduct allegations against police officers & staff or contracted staff
  • Liaison with complainants and Interested parties (managing expectations, updating and providing outcomes)
  • Liaison with Staff Associations and officers/staff subject to investigation (managing expectations, updating and providing outcomes)
  • Liaison with IPCC in their management role in a Managed investigation
  • Liaison with Appropriate Authority
  • Liaison with appointed Investigating Officer
  • Understanding of Holmes & MIRSAP and ability to research Holmes
  • Work to an MIR using actions including management of those actions as team supervisor

Candidates cannot have worked for Merseyside, South Yorkshire or West Midlands Police forces. They cannot be a member of the Masonic society.
