SALARY: Negotiable daily rate

WORK HOURS: Monday to Friday, normal working hours



  • In coordination with Demand Management, Service Strategy, Directorate Infrastructure Services and DSO Service Lines and CIS Support Units (CSU), develop and deploy new or enhanced services based on customer defined requirements
  • To achieve this, plan and manage Directorate resources for programme/project needs to achieve comprehensive solutions that meet agreed customer requirements and service level targets
  • In coordination with Demand Management, Service Strategy, Directorate Infrastructure Services and DSO Service Lines and CIS Support Units (CSU), plan and manage the Directorate resources required to realise Service Improvement Plans/Requests for Change that will ensure continued effective and efficient service delivery and maintenance
  • Manage the Directorate’s Service Portfolio and Programmes/Projects Dossier, including maintaining an overview of scope, milestones, costs and prices, in accordance with the appropriate NATO regulations and NCIA management policies, procedures and standards
  • Coordinate cross-Service Line services and projects
  • Manage the Directorate’s Service Management processes and functions, developing the policies and procedures to deliver required outputs for Agency level requirements.
  • Provide direction and guidance on Service and Process Performance Metrics
  • Provide Directorate Service/Programme Management input into the Agency’s Service Portfolio and Customer Facing Catalogue
  • Collection, collation, verification and analysis of lifecycle data and information related to DSO services, programmes, projects and processes
  • Create and disseminate Service/Project/Process Performance Reports
  • Maintain accurate budget accounting to ensure financial resources consumed in accordance with approved plans
  • Identify, build and sustain effective communications with relevant stakeholders
  • Apply quality management principles and processes
  • Performs other duties as may be required


  • A university degree in a relevant discipline equivalent to a Master’s and supplemented by relevant IT service/programme/project management postgraduate qualifications
  • Knowledge and practical experience in Service Management and programme/project management, particularly in IT (though in other areas also would be considered a bonus)
  • Such experience should encompass state-of-the-art project and business management processes, procedures and tools
  • Resource management, including the planning for and allocation of resources in organizations
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, with good briefing skills
  • Prior operational experience, and of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
