A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join a world class recruiting service for the British Army.

About the role

As a Medical Administrator you will undertake professional clerical and administrative support duties regarding medical screening of Army applicants as part of the National Recruiting Centre (NRC) service provision.

Your role will play a vital part in the administration and smooth-running of the process of recruiting appropriate talent to join the Army.

What you will do:

  • Liaising with applicants, answering queries and assisting candidates through the medical aspects of the application process where required

  • Escalating issues or seeking guidance on specific cases from Team Leaders or medical contacts (Medical Experts, Chief Medical Officer etc)

  • Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information;

  • Interacting with third party providers where appropriate (e.g. candidate GPs) as part of medical process fulfilment

  • Filing and retrieving information and documents, data entry, typing letters and looking after visitors

  • Answering the phone and responding to queries (from both internal and external customers)

Your experience will include:

  • Experience in administration and customer service
  • A good level of English spelling and grammar
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office
  • Familiarity with the Army from a personal or family-link perspective desirable
  • Experience in the healthcare arena desirable
