Trainee 1st Line Service Desk Analyst - Up to £17,000

Are you looking for a career in IT? We have an opportunity for you to join us as a 1st Line Service Desk Analyst in our offices in Newtownabbey.

As a 1st Line Service Desk Analyst in our company you will take calls from our customers with IT issues and either try and provide a solution or escalate to our engineers.

This is an ideal opportunity for somebody with a passion for IT who is looking to break into an IT role in a large corporate company. We will give you all the tools you will need to succeed, you need to bring a willingness to learn and a desire to provide excellent service to our customer.

The hours for this position are Sunday 12 midday - midnight and day shift Monday - Wednesday.

What you will do:

  • Act as a first point of contact for all IT helpdesk activities
  • Respond to phone calls, emails and online chat
  • Deliver outstanding customer service standards by answering all calls promptly, remaining courteous and professional at all times
  • Ensure all incidents are logged accurately

Your experience will include:

  • Excellent customer service experience - preferably in a telephony based environment
  • Bright and eager to learn, with an interest in IT
  • Good time keeping
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to follow processes
