Within the Extended Initial In-Service Support (EIISS) Team, the HUMS SIE (System Information Exploitation) Engineer will support the following HUMS SIE activities EIISS team and is responsible for the activities:
* Support the design & development of the HUMS Data Management tools
* Analyse exported HUMS data and to identify trends and cost drivers
* Produce HUMS SIE Reports
* Make recommendations for improving HUMS prognostics & SIE capability during EIISS.
The successful candidate is required to act as the interface internally between the supportability disciplines and the HUMS development design teams, and externally to the Customer and our suppliers, as appropriate and perform appropriate analysis in support of proposed HUMS SIE implementation

Responsibilities
* Conduct Testability Analysis and develop vehicle prognostic procedures
* Participation in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis as appropriate to HUMS
* Support the establishment of information requirements for HUMS SIE and map these information requirements to data recorded by HUMS Sensor Box or Data Server:
* Develop System Requirements Specification for HUMS SIE
* Develop HUMS SIE Functional Specification
* Identification and refinement of data transmission and retention requirements
* Support the design and development of the following applications:
* Completion of appropriate HUMS SIE data analysis
* Completion of appropriate HUMS SIE Reports
* Production of Costing/Benefit Analysis for HUMS Prognostic improvements
* Production of Costing/Benefit Analysis for HUMS Data Management toolset improvements
* Liaising with the Authority and relevant stakeholders to ensure provision of added value information (avoiding duplication with other reporting tools, such as JAMES or VERITAS)

Essential
*Hold or be capable of holding security clearance
*Willing to travel within the UK and possibly overseas
*Capable of liaising with customers and suppliers at all levels
*Ability to meet deadlines and cope with pressure
*Positive and flexible attitude with an ability and willingness to learn
*Considerable hands on experience in the Testability Analysis discipline with significant experience in HUMS solution.
*Full UK Driving licence, legally allowed to drive in the UK and have access to transport
