Service Architect - Defence - SC Cleared

I am currently recruiting for a Service Architect based in Bracknell on a 6 month contract for a large IT Service Provider working on a Defence project.

The ideal candidate will have a previous background of Service Design within a Defence environment and hold a valid and active SC Clearance.

Requirement:

  • Process and Procedures for supporting the solution. - Includes Primarily KPI Software components and identification of any procedure for the support of OS, Hardware or other Software components. These to be based on existing processes or re-use of other support procedures where possible. E.g. OS support, av updates, patching, updates, back-up, archiving and audit reporting. Excludes Upgrades.
  • Process in relation to HW/Breakfix for working in the secure area. Identification of training and process.
  • Update of Solution Overview document
  • Assist the client with defining their ways of working
  • Assist our Defence client in defining and documenting SLA's for the project

Skills:

  • Solid experience in a Service Architect role and working within the Defence sector.
  • An excellent communicator (written and oral).
  • Professional and adept at dealing with awkward individuals and supplier.
  • A proven track record in taking a solution into service.
  • Experience of working within ATLAS. Experience of PKI solutions
