Overview of the role:

Management of all activity and communication related to Major Incidents handed over to Desktop Infrastructure teams to resolve, while supporting the Problem Management, Change Management and Capacity management services with their requests and processes. Key to this role is being able to man manage, operationally manage and performance manage which will include objective setting, measurement, monitoring, productivity and appraisal of staff. Regular feedback via 121s, talent management, performance standards and performance improvement plans.

The chosen candidate must have a proven track record of managing major incidents, including communications at all levels to varied stakeholders will be essential which includes face to face.
The ability to demonstrate managing a service and performance through operational teams of 6+ will stand you in a good position to deliver against our SLAs and targets.
An understanding of a technical infrastructure environment.

Required experience that needs to be reflected within the CV:

*Major Incident Management experience
*Experience of managing teams of 6+
*Appreciation of technical environment (infrastructure experience)
*Proven record of communicating at all levels within the business
*Owning and chairing meetings with managers at all levels.
*An ITIL Foundation V3 qualification
*Working 24/7 shifts (rota will be provided)
*Crisis management experience

SC Clearance
£348 per day

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
