Are you an extensively experienced RF design engineer?
Do you have experience of using CAD tools such as NI/AWR Microwave Office?
Do you have in-depth knowledge of RF equipment such as amplifiers, splitters and combiners?

We are currently seeking a principal RF Design engineer to join a company who work within the RF and microwave electronics field - they design and manufacture high end electronics for communication applications from broadcast, satellite and telecoms industries through to government/defence, oil & gas and even marine sectors.

The Principal RF Design engineer will play a pivotal role in leading the RF design team in the hands-on design and development of a range of RF & microwave products over the spectrum of IF, L-band, C-band, X-band, Ku-, K- and KA-bands.

The principal RF Design engineer will have all of, if not most of the following skills/experience:
- Degree within engineering/physics or related discipline
- Extensive use of AWR Microwave Office or similar CAD package
- RF system analysis i.e. Cascade analysis and frequency planning
- RF circuit design experience covering DC-6GHz up to 40GHz

Demonstrable experience of designing/using a variety of RF related equipment such as:
- Amplifiers (Low noise, power or gain blocks)
- splitters/dividers/combiners
- filters,
- mixers (or frequency converters)
- Phase locked Loops
