Location - Central London

Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits

An exciting position has become available for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join my client.
Reporting in to the Application Support Team Leader, this is a crucial role in which you will be responsible for resolving any issues or incidents that disrupts the application services that the business relies on. A specific focus within this role is that of various FM systems and Capital Project tools, such as PMWeb.

Job Responsibilities

*Manage the ticket queue for FM systems and Capital Projects application (PMWeb) issues arising from the business users, using the IT Incident Management System Investigate/trouble-shoot problems and other requests for support on the FM systems and Capital Projects application.
*Determine appropriate actions to take based on root-cause analysis and liaise with the Application Support Team Leader, Business Process Team, Business Relationship Manager or software vendor as and when required.
*Prioritise requests in accordance with agreed criteria and with reference to the contractual definitions and SLAs with the software vendor.
*Monitor and manage progress of requests for support and ensure users and other interested parties are kept informed.
*Training users or operations staff, producing additional documentation, or escalating requests to software suppliers.
*Ensure all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures.
*Execute system administration tasks as assigned and in accordance with processes and procedures e.g. new drop down items, user roles and account creation etc.
*Note problems and identify performance trends. Where required, take corrective action to improve performance and to avoid problems arising by liaising with the software vendor support team.

Essential Skills

*At least 3 years' experience of providing L2/L3 application support.
*Sound knowledge and experience of supporting FM and Capital Projects systems.
*Experience of Recording and solving application support issues from users, prioritising requests, implementing and communicating timely solutions.
*Trouble-shooting and undertaking detailed root-cause analysis.
*Managing L3 issues assigned to the software vendor for resolution.
*Analytical and problem solving mind set.
*Ability to work within a team and also with also business stakeholders and vendors.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
*A strong customer focus.
