Working as a Project Management Consultant, you will be part of a project team based on client site who are responsible for achieving successful project delivery in a complex manufacturing challenges.

Teams are involved in the full range of project activities including:

  • Planning
  • Scheduling
  • Resource management
  • Cost-control
  • Risk assessment
  • Project communication

This role will require being based on client site in Cheadle (Near Manchester) from Monday to Friday.

Required skills and Experience

We are looking for talented, dynamic and experienced project management support professionals.

You will have:

  • You ideally have an engineering background and experience within the infrastructure, aerospace, rail or defence sector
  • Understanding and experience of project management, including at least one of project planning, scheduling, cost control, risk assessment and/or resource management,
  • Proficiency in Earned Value Management technique would be an advantage, as would exposure to P6 for those with a project planning speciality
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills as you will be working on client site with multiple stakeholders
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to work on complex issues, and communicate solutions in a clear and concise way,
  • Eagerness to further your development within a consulting environment and a consulting mind-set
  • A relevant qualification such as PRINCE2 or PMP would be of benefit.
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Security Clearance is essential  (SC)

Travel Requirements
Consultants are expected to work from a London base, but be flexible with regards to travel within the UK as you could be working away from home during the week. Exciting opportunities exist for those employees who may wish to work abroad as part of their time with Pcubed.
