A world leading security and technology service provider who have invested billions of pounds in their services working with the most high profile clients on the most cutting edge projects. This role is available due to a company expansion.
The Facility Manager has operational responsibility for the facility including safety (both personnel & plant), quality, costs and test performance. This role is responsible for management of staff assigned to the facility and collaborating internally with the mechanical, electrical & electronics design and other specialist scientific and engineering team leads to ensure suitable and sufficient staffs are available to support maintenance and operational activities within the facility.
You must have a background of working in a similar role across hard and soft services
Strong people and process management skills
Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong behavioural skills such as being self motivated and driven, a good work ethic and a drive to succeed
A background in a technical discipline will be beneficial
Having Hands on experience on the side of Facilities maintenance is highly desirable
IOSH qualification is desired for this role
