An industry leading Security Consultant with experience in leading and shaping Enterprise scale projects and a core focus around the HP ESS Security based product suites.
The role will sit within the Infrastructure & Endpoint Security Services (IES) team UK based within Security Consulting and will require deep architectural and implementation knowledge of multiple security technologies. It is essential to have extensive knowledge within some of the following F5. Experience in deploying additional security technologies is complimentary, such as Checkpoint, Fortinet, Bluecoat, McAfee and/or Tanium.
The role is to provide customer facing Infrastructure Security Consultancy services to required quality criteria to HPE clients and HPE as a whole.
Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams.
Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses.
As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction.
Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge.
Actively contribute to HP’s solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects.
Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organisation and for external customers.
Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal project teams) and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
Contribute to organisation’s profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues, and is regarded by others within HPE as a subject matter expert.
Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas/methods.
Usually works on complex problems or projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors.
Regularly exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
Sometimes directs and supervises within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.
Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross functional initiatives.
Provides mentoring and guidance to employees at lower job levels.
Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organisation to external clients.
3-5 years proven track record of extensive experience in enabling installations and configurations products mapping to the HPE ESS portfolio
Strong networking skills with experience of configuring complex environments are paramount to this role.
Required Technology Implementation Experience within the below (experience within a minimum of 2 and below required):
This is a 100% mobile role, travel compulsory
The candidate must hold a current driving licence
Background Checking is needed with full financial check
Needs to be eligible Security Clearance
