The Network Engineer will be required to assist with the design, development, and administration of the EMEA network environment.
 
Working in accordance with company procedures and methodology, the Network Engineer will assist in providing technical direction for network solutions, network design and build components, as  well as taking ownership of and resolving assigned support calls to the network team effectively within SLA/OLA guidelines.

Essential Skills
  • Candidate must have an active CCNP accreditation
  • Must have demonstrable experience assisting with the design, implementation/configuration and administration of networks and network devices for medium to large enterprises
  • Experience in configuration and administration of Cisco ASA Firewalls, Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches
  • Practical experience of working with TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, VPN, QoS, DHCP and DNS.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Experience of taking part in a Network Team On-call rota.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Hardware, software and network connection troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge of anti-virus software, and other network security measures.
  • SC Level Clearance required.

  • Cisco Data Centre products: UCS, Nexus, ACS
  • Storage: EMC SAN Storage.
  • Hypervisor: vSphere, Hyper-V.
  • Domain Services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
  • Citrix XenApp 6.5 and XenDesktop 7.5.
