Description
Our Cyber Graduate Programme is a two year scheme which gives you a chance to develop your skills in your chosen field at the heart of Northrop Grumman’s cutting-edge cyber engineering business.

Northrop Grumman offers solutions to multiple customers in the fields of cyber, innovation, research and development and big data. You could be working in design, development, testing or innovation and research, developing your skills across to become an expert in your field.

As part of our expanding software engineering team, you’ll be exposed to the complete software development lifecycle as part of a unique team keeping abreast of the latest technologies, updating your skills continuously with opportunities to participate in technical training.

We offer a starting salary of £25k with a pay review on completion of each 6 month rotation, a competitive pension scheme, healthcare, a mentor and 25 days holiday per annum.

Skills & Experience
 
We are looking for people with a STEM degree and a passion for software, and an understanding of the entire software lifecycle who enjoy a challenge. Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning are essential with an ability to work with others. You will need to possess a keen interest in software, computing, online security and cyber ethics.  In addition, you may also have coded in Java, Python, Ruby, SQL and any other languages. Please also note that some our software roles will require security clearance.
 
The successful candidate will start on their first rotation in June 2017 giving immediate exposure to a mixture of roles within the software lifecycle focusing on software engineering, systems engineering, test engineering and software services. This approach gives the successful candidate the widest experience of all the aspects of how the team functions before selecting a specialism.
