An exciting part time opportunity for a Post Administrator to join a world-class recruitment service for the British Army
About the role
As a Post Administrator, you will safely, efficiently and professionally process all inbound and outbound mail for the NRC, RG HQ and Military Staff. You will interact with most areas of the NRC ensuring that all post is handled in line with prescribed policies and timings.
You will be a team player, with experience in document handling with good communication skills. Please note that the role will involve some manual handling.

Since March 2012, Capita has been working with the Ministry of Defence (MOD) in a partnering arrangement with the armed forces to deliver recruitment services for the Army. The project represents a major investment in the transformation for military recruiting.
The contract covers the entire recruiting and selection process for both the Regular Army and the TA, and is helping transform the way the Army recruits its officers and soldiers.
What you will do:
Opening and distribution of incoming post and weighing, stamping and posting of outgoing mail
Scanning and uploading of candidate recruiting documentation
Handling of Signed For and Special Delivery Items (Track & Trace), obtaining signatures
Security of Incoming and Outgoing Post, Checking Addressing of Outgoing Post
Secure storage of unprocessed items
Handling of Medical in Confidence Documents and other administrative duties as required
Your experience will include:
- Post Room experience desirable, but not essential
- Experience in documentation handling, scanning and uploading information
- Understanding of the Army desirable, but not essential
- IT Literate - MS office
