Senior Proposition Marketing Manager - Feeds
The world's leading source of Intelligent Information are looking for a Senior B2B Proposition Marketing Manager to take a lead on one of the most important areas of the business across the world. This role contributes significantly to the delivery of business objectives by actively developing the marketing strategy and plan to deliver against the objectives of the Enterprise business. This new role requires an experienced marketer who will assume pan-F&R and global responsibility; the work will be high profile as Feeds are pivotal to the success of the F&R business and within the context of the Unified Platform. This is a highly collaborative role involving close work with the product groups, business segments, brand, sales and central marketing and regional marketing teams.
Responsible for the planning, implementation and measurement of all Feeds marketing activities in support of our overall Enterprise business objectives. Leverages a virtual global team and engages the broader marketing teams in strategic marketing to develop and execute against these plans. Accountable for setting the strategic marketing direction and ensuring the coordination of all marketing activities. Manages the analysis of customer and market data, providing insight back to the business for input to strategy and using this insight to drive strategic and tactical plans. Gains commitment and guides implementation of marketing plans to ensure delivery of expected results. Ensures market positioning, proposition and end user messaging is compelling, differentiated and supported by evidence and that this is scaled throughout all internal and external marketing activities. Ensures all marketing program deliverables demonstrate value and ROI and meet our customers' requirements and Thomson Reuters quality standards. Monitors all aspects of key competitors, analyzing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Develop strategies to meet competitive threats and/or achieve competitive advantage. Develop/promote marketing best practice across the broader marketing group and proactively collaborate to find join ups and synergies between marketing plans. May represent Feeds in broader, Thomson Reuters wide projects or initiatives which requires an in-depth knowledge of our capabilities and the markets in which we operate. Contributes to creation of consistent tone of voice, messaging and positioning for the overall Enterprise capabilities and how this is used through all sales and marketing channels.
· Proven experience in creating & running successful multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns
· Proven experience in creating & driving marketing strategy, planning and budgeting
· Sound knowledge of, and experience in marketing to, the global financial services industry including the content consumed by financial institutions via real-time and non real-time feeds
· Professional marketing qualification OR marketing related college degree
