About the role

This Technical Pre-Sales consultant role is dedicated to supporting our international partner business, initially supporting a single, key strategic partner. As a result, the role does include some international travel.

The opportunity is an exciting, varied presales position, encompassing tender documentation, product demonstrations and assisting the international partner sales team. As a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant you will use your experience supporting the growth of this important channel stream, whilst strengthening your own expertise and becoming an integral part of the wider Pre-Sales technical team.

What you will do:

  • Lead the Pre Sales function for Capita's Control Works solution for a particular Channel Partner.

  • Attend customer meetings and present proposals to the customer alongside the sales team.

  • Write technical bids alongside the bid team for customers.

  • Sell technical solutions to the customer with professionalism and enthusiasm.

  • Respond to technical questions about the product and related infrastructure.

  • Lead the international pre sales function (Roughly 25% international travel initially).

Your experience will include:

  • Technical experience either from working within a Pre Sales or Systems Engineer Capacity.
  • Previous experience working for a communications provider would be an advantage.
  • Have worked in a customer facing environment and be comfortable presenting technical information.
  • You will be self-sufficient and have experience configuring systems as and when required.
  • Strong technical bid writing experience.
  • SC cleared or have the ability to become SC cleared.
