You’ll deliver £multimillion projects on time and to budget
Responsible for small, medium and large projects worth around £2m-£5m, you’ll play a major role in helping FCO Services deliver to customers at the right time, at the right cost and with the right level of quality. This will mean overseeing everything from resource planning to financial management as well as monitoring project progress day-to-day. Supplier management will be another big part of the role, as you work closely with procurement functions to build effective relationships and robust supply chains. You’ll also be expected to coach and mentor more junior project management professionals in the team.
You know what it takes to manage security-related projects
We are looking for a Qualified Project Manager with Prince 2 Practitioner or APMP, or ISEB Certificate in Project Management or equivalent, who is used to applying project management methodologies and understands all aspects of the project life cycle. Given the value, importance and complexity of the work we do for our customers, you must already have wide-ranging experience and or understanding in delivering a range of projects relating to IT, ICT and Communications within an Agile, Dev Ops, Government Digital Services (GDS) and ITIL environments. A sound knowledge of financial controls and management is also essential.
