Your experience in Quality Engineering and knowledge of corrective and preventative actions, will play a crucial part in maintaining the QMS through internal audits and machining, assembly and processing defect investigations. Using your background in Quality Assurance you will ensure all products meet aerospace quality status.

You will be working for a steadily growing manufacturing engineering company predominantly producing equipment for the aerospace industry. Manufacturing extends to a wide and diverse range of machining and processing disciplines with products including hydraulic valve components, landing gear kit of parts, flying control assemblies and engine components. About the Role:

The client requires a Facility Quality Engineer to ensure all processes meet quality standards and AS9100 REV C and customer requirements. This job includes:

Conduct machining, assembly, processing defect investigations
Manage 8D RCCA / Quality Clinics
Conduct daily workshop reviews/patrol for conformity/control [FAIR/CLASS 1/Non-conforming Product / SPC/KC
Manage customer returns to strict time constraint
Expedite Corrective Action
Review effectiveness of Corrective & Preventative Actions
Maintain QMS in line with AS9100 REV C & customer QA requirements
Produce QA metrics & action plans resulting from KPI reviews
Manage & conduct Internal Audits
Manage QA training & training records
Co-ordinate PFMEA & NPI

About You:

To be suitable for the Facility Quality Engineer job, you will need to have a solid background in Quality Assurance to quality standards including AS9100, process improvement and corrective actions, preferably in the aerospace industry.
