The Candidate

We are seeking a highly personable and technically astute Operations Analyst. The ideal candidate for this role will have recent experience in conducting DP-related analysis, OA tools and data collection within NATO, the MoD, civil service, the wider armed forces or a defence organisation.

The Role

Role Responsibilities;

  • Conducting DP-related analysis using a variety of analytical supporting tools.
  • Producing, under time pressure, accurate (i.e. validated and consistent) data sets using MS tools at expert level
  • Applying a range of OA tools to support analyses such as MS Excel (spreadsheet analysis), conducting some VBA coding and macros development as required, and potentially some use of GIS, simulation and statistical software
  • Carrying out data collection, collation and analysis using a range of tools (predominantly MS Excel and MS Access).
  • Summarising results to be presented in MS PowerPoint presentations and MS Word documents
  • Supporting OASL staff in the development and update of documentation/reports.

The Opportunity 

Working as part of a team at NCIA for NATO, the successful applicant will cupport OA tools and OASL staff in addition to conducting DP-related analysis. This will be on site in The Hague, Netherlands and will suit those either already living there or willing and able to work within that location unencumbered.

Minimum Requirements

  • Conducting DP-related analysis using a variety of analytical supporting tools.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a NATO Secret Security Clearance
