The Oracle Cloud Security organization is tasked with ensuring the security of the Oracle Cloud offerings. This includes security policy/standards definition, operation of security infrastructure in the cloud, security monitoring/testing and regulatory compliance.

This is a technical security compliance and assessment role within Oracle Public Cloud. Focus will be on monitoring, managing and tracking security bug and vulnerability compliance. Assist with compliance of internal and external auditing results. Manage and track remediation efforts for new and existing implementations.

Candidate should have knowledge in information security, systems administration concepts and an understanding of common IT infrastructure and application delivery. Have an understanding of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS in a cloud environment. Experience in large-scale server enterprise systems or cloud implementations are required. Familiarity with common security standards and practices: NIST, ISO, PCI, SOC, G-Cloud.

Will track and manage the resolution of development or functional controls in relation to vulnerability discovery. Responsible for managing and facilitating relationships between the discovery channel and the development or infrastructure groups. Experience in manipulating multiple outputs such as: testing and scanning tools results, in to a format for common audience distribution. Provide management level reporting and dashboards on overall risk levels. Facilitate approval and tracking of security related change control items. 

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

 Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

British Citizenship and 5 years residency in the UK are required for this position.
