An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Safety Engineer to join a global leading Defence Technology & Security Organisation.

The role

Due to growth within the safety team we are now able to bid for a wider variety of opportunities. This has opened up a position for the role of Senior Safety Engineer in order to support the growth of the team and business.

You will be required to;

• Act as Technical Lead on safety engineering projects, dealing directly with customers
• Be a leading expert in the Safety Engineering Field
• Provide recommended solutions to meet customers' expectations and needs
• Ensure work tasks are delivered in a timely and costly manner and in compliance with the relevant procedures
• Deliver and build safety cases following up your finding in a written safety report
• To develop and grow business with existing clients whilst paving the way for new opportunities
• Identify and establish good relationships with new clients

The Fit

The right person for this role will

• Have 5+ years of experience in safety activities
• Hazard and risk management
• Writing reports
• Capturing requirements
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent behavioural skills such as work ethic and great teamwork

Desirable

• A Masters' Degree in a Safety subject would help your application
