Role Purpose



The Training Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of the Costa Rica Global Delivery Center and provide day-to-day operational and strategic leadership of the Training function. The Training Coordinator's primary responsibility will be developing employees at all levels in the Costa Rica GDC to improve the knowledge, skills and behaviors that are needed to drive business growth and realize organizational goals.

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources - Costa Rica, the role holder will be a key member of both the Costa Rica GDC and the global virtual training team within the GDC organization globally.

Key Accountabilities



• • Support in the creation of a training vision, strategy and operating model, which is aligned to the needs of the Costa Rica GDC and Service Desk LoS.

• Support the Head of Human Resources in driving a high performance culture

• Identify training and development needs within the GDC through job analysis, appraisals and through frequent consultation with GDC management.

• Design, develop, and coordinate all GDC training interventions using a range of delivery methods (classroom, e-learning, demos, on-the-job coaching/mentoring, meetings, and workshops) and in line with individual and organizational learning plans.

• Support the development of training materials for in-house classroom and e-learning courses as required.

• Actively promote the use of the GDC e-learning platform ("iLearn") ensuring high employee uptake of courses

• Manage course enrolment, registration and attendance for all classroom based courses through the iLearn Instructor-Led Training (ILT) interface.

• Supervision of the measurement and tracking of all training KPIs and be able to report on ROI of training investments.

• Analyze and report on trends in the training data on a monthly basis, and take corrective actions where required.

• Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for all new hires, ensuring they can be deployed at the right time and with the appropriate level of knowledge and skill.

• Follow-up on all training activities within the GDC to ensure high standards of design and delivery are met, and attendance is properly tracked and recorded.

• Train instructors in the skills and techniques of training delivery (TTT)

• Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of all training interventions, providing recommendations for improvement.

• Amend and revise training interventions as necessary to adapt to feedback and changes in the business or work environment, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.

• Keep up to date on developments in the training industry and benchmark the function internally (with other GDCs) and externally to ensure the use of global best practices;

• Initiate relationships and partnerships with industry associations, external training providers and academic institutions

• Manage the contracting and delivery process with external providers (where necessary)

• Ensure all statutory training requirements are met

• Proactively engage with staff, demonstrating a commitment to people leadership, engagement, communication and talent development.

• Build and sustain a culture and mindset of one global training organization within the GDC organization globally by participating actively in global training & development projects as and when required.

• Knowledge and understanding of the IMS.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Education, or Related field

Experience

• 2 to 3 years of proven operational support experience in similar positions.

• Experience in delivering training sessions and learning & development strategies.

• Experience working across geographies and time zones
