Our client has an immediate requirement for an experienced Project Manager to offer support on a 12 month basis in Wiltshire.

Supporting the Programme Director, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparing and maintaining schedules of activities and events, taking account of dependencies and resource requirements
  • Managing the consolidation and documenting of the fundamental components of projects (scope, schedule, resource requirements, budgets, risks, opportunities, issues and quality requirements)
  • Preparing, gaining approval of, refining and updating business cases that justify projects in terms of benefits, costs and risks
  • Establishing and maintaining governance arrangements for the delivery of projects, defining clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities that align with organisation practice
  • Managing the preparation and delivery of technical briefs, status reports, chairing meetings and taking minutes/notes
  • Developing and managing teams, identifying, addressing and resolving differences between individuals and/or interest groups
  • Agreeing contracts for the provision of goods/services needed for projects monitoring compliance and managing variances

Suitable candidates must hold a recognised project management methodology such as PRINCE 2/APMP/MSP with experience of Atlassan Toolset - JIRA, Confluence, and BitBucket for delivering Agile based projects.

In addition, you will have a minimum of 3 years' experience and knowledge in a project management environment and working knowledge of the following areas: planning, scheduling, resource management, budget and cost management, risk and issue management

It is also essential that you hold full security clearance.

Please note, this role also falls inside IR35.
