Fujitsu are recruiting for a Regional Manager within Hosting Services in Northern Ireland.

This is a key leadership role within the Hybrid Infrastructure Service Delivery organisation in UK&I. The role requires a self-motivated individual with strong inter-personal skills and established track record to support the development and growth of Hybrid Infrastructure Services.

Reporting into the Head of Hybrid Infrastructure and Network and Telecomms Services UK&I, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of Hybrid Infrastructure Operations in one of our key locations within the UK&I, Belfast.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the operations including resource management, organisation structure, service delivery, performance management and delivery of financial objectives. This will require a significant amount of customer interaction and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a track record of managing customer relationships in the delivery of Managed Infrastructure services.

You will have strong co-ordination skills and demonstrable ability to drive results; will be dealing with on-site escalations from the account facing teams and customer requiring an individual who can demonstrate good stakeholder management capability.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate control under pressure, ability to handle complex technical situations, and translate events into clear communications to the stakeholder community. Key to the role is the ability to enable, motivate and lead an organisation which delivers business critical service to customers.

The role holder shall be experienced in the shaping and purposing of organisations to align with evolving market and technologies.

Outline of Role
  • Management, motivation and development of a large organisation working in a shared delivery environment to support multiple customers operating a range of technologies.

  • Identification and management of all aspect of risk associated with delivery of services

  • Manages in order to deliver contracted service commitments & continual service improvements for all areas of ownership

  • Actively controls service costs & continually seeks to improve productivity and effectiveness

  • Management of staff development and actions which result in year on year improvements in staff engagement and enablement levels

  • Develops positive relationships with senior level stakeholders including external customers, Fujitsu Capability and Business Units, particularly within UK and Ireland but also across a wider geography as required. As required can lead and manage Hybrid Infrastructure Service Delivery engagement into bids and offerings collateral as required.

  • Anticipates how business drivers and issues apply to own area and develops the organisational flexibility to meet those changes



Essential Skills

•Senior management experience in an IT organisation, interacting at a senior level both internally and externally

•Senior leadership experience in new business engagements.

•Proven track record in leading and delivering large scale solutions and services to clients

•Successful achievements in IT programme/project management and formal service delivery

•Management responsibility for large multi-functional teams

•Proven track record in leading and managing people in either a direct or matrix managed capacity to deliver defined outcomes.

•Extensive finance experience, bids/proposals, budget management, forecasting

•Background in budget and resource management

•Understanding and evidence of Continuous Improvement methods and implementation

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Experienced in the definition, measurement, reporting and management of SLAs & KPI

•Advanced MS Excel & PowerPoint skills and ability to effectively present data and information via these mediums

• Flexibility to travel between Fujitsu sites in N. Ireland. Role may also involve some travel to customer sites in the UK.
