Working from our Gloucester office or on customer site, we help our clients with some of their most complex IT challenges. Our developers have the opportunity to construct some of the most unique and exciting software solutions within the industry. You can expect to be involved in all stages of the project and system life-cycles

Your future duties and responsibilities:
CGI has a strong Agile software engineering community based in Gloucester that is growing. We create innovative solutions to solve our clients’ business challenges. To maintain our momentum, we need to recruit a variety of developers with varied skill-sets and experience, keen to work on leading edge solutions for our clients.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
You will have experience of developing software and applications in JavaScript with HTML, CSS, and one of Angular, React or Node.JS.
A familiarity with UX design principles and UI design using storyboards and wireframes as well as experience of an Agile approach and software engineering practices, including Continuous Integration and DevOps is also required.

We develop mainly on Linux environments (RedHat, Ubuntu or CentOS)

We also use JSON and XML, RESTful services, MongoDB, HTML5, CSS, Responsive Web frameworks, JavaScript libraries such as JQuery. Any knowledge around these would be highly beneficial

Security Clearance is required for this vacancy. You will need to have or be able to gain a minimum of SC Clearance with the ability to attain DV Clearance.
